Damascus University Arabic Language Institute Website - Coming Soon

Hello out there. I get many inquiries about Damascus University. I was told a day or two ago that their website should be up and running in about a week. I'll post it as soon as I get word.

Hi Jeremy,

I just read through all your posts; thank you very much for taking the time to provide this information on studying Arabic in Damascus. I'm a Fulbright grantee who will be studying Arabic there and am in the process of researching my options. As of now I've been settled on the University of Damascus. Can you tell us a little more about the private program you were accepted in at the university? How is this different from the general Arabic program? Thanks.

Hi there. Sorry for the late response. The program I was in was called AFIC. It is now called NFLI and I have a link to it on my blog. You have to take the CASA test to be considered for this. Contact the NFLI people for more info. It was a great program. Good Luck!
